A Conservative Compendium is my personal home for commenting on news items I find worth commenting on, and sharing them with you, my friends, readers, students and those who drift onto the blog by happenstance. I write from a center-right perspective, and my politics drift in an area where Ronald Reagan, Bill Buckley, Milton Friedman, Newt Gingrich, and the occasional Austrian School alumnus should find common ground.

I don’t support lunatics, Paulistinians, those who want to secede or Birthers/Truthers/any “ers” of that slant. If you do, this may not be the place for you unless you agree to civil debate.
