I find it rather hard to believe that someone as so powerful and ubiquitous to political discussion such as Rush Limbaugh would consider himself a target for destruction. For the past 20 years, he has swatted the gnats who attack him with ease and amusement. If he was ever marked for destruction, it probably would have been under the Clinton presidency. Still, there is a segment of American society who drool at the prospect of Limbaugh being taken out. Such is the price for success in political pugilism.

Rush Limbaugh: I know I’ll be destroyed eventually
Thursday, May 27th, 2010Go back to Mexico
Sunday, May 23rd, 2010The disgusting display but on by Mexican President Felipe Calderón raised the ire of many Americans who have tired of the growing lawlessness in the borders of the Southwest portion of the country. I myself live in California, about 1 1/2 hour’s drive from San Diego, where we have our fair share of border-jumping. As there has been no serious effort to curb illegal entry (to call it immigration smacks the face of those who worked so hard to enter the country by legal means), states like Arizona are forced to deal with the issue themselves, federal government be damned.
The Washington Times excoriates the cretinous Mexican president, who has a large plate of domestic problems he should be handling (like controlling his own southern border, where Mexican federales routinely abuse Central Americans) and handling narco-trafficking scum rather than serving as a lackey for the current administration by mouthing their talking points. We need no lectures from a failed leader.
Arizona faces tougher sanctions than Iran
Friday, April 30th, 2010Mark Steyn muses on the misguided among our fellow citizens who always seem to root for the bad guy rather than for the victim. The left is truly filled with sick people.
Hugh Hewitt on Donny Deutsch, Keith Olbermann and MSNBC
Saturday, April 24th, 2010Score one for Hugh Hewitt, though it comes at a cost. While I loathe the idiocy that comes from the mouths of people like Keith Olbermann and Ed Schultz, it seems not only harsh but stupid for them to fire Donny Deutsch for not running to the defense of simpletons, even though he tried to save their faces in a ham-handed fashion.
There is no sane person who can compare new media’s far more engaging radio (and TV, to a point, if you count Fox News) and MSNBC as being equal on the credibility scale. If you do, you obviously don’t or listen much (which, sometimes might not be such a bad thing to do, come to think of it…).
The Democrats’ Biggest Mistake
Thursday, January 21st, 2010There was a time where the Democratic Party possessed a few bright, clear-thinking men and women who put the country’s will ahead of their own. Sadly, those few have been replaced by a sea of delusional hacks who are in utter denial of the level of disgust and contempt a good number of citizens have for the president and his minions. Ronald Kessler of NewsMax.com comments further on the delusional state of The Left.
Stewart Rips Maddow for Using Haitian Disaster to Bash Bush, Maddow Foolishly Strikes Back
Saturday, January 16th, 2010I can’t say I’m particularly fond of Jon Stewart, find him too snarky, and his audience frankly too dumb to appreciate politics on anything resembling a deep level. There are times, however, when the man can surprise.
MSNBC commentator and all-around twat Rachel Maddow was rightfully mocked by Stewart for using the Haitian disaster as a pretext to continue bashing former President George W. Bush. Bush, unlike uber-creeps that haunt the radical left of the political spectrum, actually has a track record of humanitarian acts. He joins the current president and Bill Clinton in spearheading efforts in humanitarian aid to the region. Maddow made no apologies for her wretched and embarrassing statement. Very nice to see Jon Stewart tell the shill this isn’t the time for sickening partisan games.
